1968 "R Code" Cobra Jet GT FastbacK.  This is a very rare, "R" code, GT fastback.  In January 2006 a 68 GT "R" code fastback 4 Spds sold for over $500,000 at the Barrett Jackson auction.  Only 860 of these ultra rare "R" code automatics were built.  Even fewer were built with a 3:91 ratio  "Traction Lok" rear end.  If you are looking for the ultimate "Bullitt Experience", this is it.   Here's your chance to take the Bullitt Mustang to the next level with this ultra rare, factory GT, factory Highland Green, R-Code Cobra Jet Mustang fastback.  It is optioned just as the "Marti Report" says it should be.  Automatic transmission, Styled Steel Wheels, power disc brakes, and the black standard interior show this car as "all business" as any "Cobra Jet" Mustang was intended to be.  It is currently completely disassembled, on a rotesserie, undergoing a full and complete concours restoration to MCA Gold standards. We don't expect to have it completed until summer of '08.
