#12284 - 1968 Mustang GT Fastback “Replica” 289 Engine 4 Spd This is an all original, 1968 fastback with
a number of upgrades. Originally a 289 "C" code, 3 speed manual. All sheet metal is original throughout
documented by correct date codes. Engine has been replaced with a street performance built 302, using
a mild cam, new intake manifild, carburetor, balanced and bluprinted block, with less than 100 miles on it
since rebuild. Original 3 speed manual tranny has been replaced with a 4 speed, T10 Borg Warner. It has
GT fog lamps, dual exhausts with the GT rear valance have also been added to the car, along with a GT pop
open gas cap and correct GT wheels and hubcaps. Since these pictures were taken, correct GT exhaust tips
have been added to complete the GT appearance package. The "C stripe" has been deleted but could easily
be added. It is strong running, solid driver. Built in San Jose and always lived on the West coast. Only light
surface rust on the undercarriage (see pictures). No structural rust anywhere.
